Maguire interviewed by Computerworld about the Danish datacenter industry

James Maguire was interviewed by Computerworld about his research about the Danish datacenter industry and he brings forward his ideas of how Denmark can benefit from big tech’s investments in hyper scale data centers in Denmark.

Maguire argues that Denmark should focus on establishing itself as a knowledge hub for data and infrastructure and thereby attract related industries and highly professional labour force in areas of data and storage.

Moreover, Maguire points out that the relationship between small nation states and big tech companies such as Facebook, Apple and Google is currently being redefined, as tech giants get bigger and bigger, and thus seem to offer new promises and an allure that small countries such as Denmark find hard to resist.
