Christopher Gad Elected chairman of DASTS
At the board meeting for the Danish Association of Science and Technology Studies (DASTS) in September 2015, Christopher Gad voted chairman, after Torben Elgaard Jensen, Aalborg University, had announced his wish to step down. DASTS is the professional association for Science and Technology Studies researchers in Denmark. The aim of DASTS is to stimulate quality, breadth and cooperation within Danish STS research and to showcase Danish STS in national and international contexts. The association currently has over 500 members, it organises annual conference meetings, it has a newsletter, and hosts a open access peer reviewed journal called STS encounters: www.dasts.dk.
